Experience the peace and serenity of the northern beaches of Bali….. The only thing separating you from the calm Bali Sea is a lush garden, infinity swimming pool and beach sand, you can’t get much closer without getting wet, that is??

Villa Pondok is conveniently located along the beach in the village of Temukus, a short distance west of central Lovina. The property is quite large, consisting of 28 are (approximately ¾ acre) is fully fenced with mature landscaping, banana, lime, papaya and coconut trees sway in the breeze, as well as an impressive variety of flowering trees and plants.

The beach is rather private, in comparison to most, is good for swimming, kayaking, snorkeling, collecting seashells and fishing.Typically you are not likely to see many tourists, and no beach vendors……you will however be able to experience the pace and beauty of traditional Balinese life as well as enjoy the views of some of the most wonderful sunsets on the planet. You’ll be just minutes on foot away from Sing Sing waterfall, Air Panis (Holy Hot springs) and the Buddhist Temples are approximately 10 minutes away. Menjangan Island, which boasts some of the best snorkeling and diving in Bali, is only about an hours’ drive. Snorkeling, diving, dolphin tours and numerous other water activities are available in central Lovina (Dolphin Statue). You will never be bored with so many temples, waterfalls and attractions easily accessible, as yet the congestion found in the southern part of Bali has not yet reached the north, which makes it more enjoyable, That said the area is no backwater either.

With the opening of Hardy’s department store in Singaraja, as well as many new hotels, private villas and new archways along the highway identifying the villages, there is recent vigorous growth and progress in the region. If you have never been to Lovina, it is a definite must to see. The winding incredibly scenic drive from the south to the north is alone enough to make it worthwhile if only for a day trip, (but two nights minimum is recommended), what with all the wonderful volcano-crater lakes, waterfalls, Hindu Temples, traditional markets and distinctly unique terraced rice paddies interspersed with swaths of untamed jungle, grape vineyards, tobacco, coffee and coco farms, the countryside is full of sights, smells and sounds that will leave indelible impression on your senses. The Villa
